Today, Aug. 18, is the birthday of Virginia Beach rapper and Clipse member No Malice. After forging a fearsome tandem with his brother Pusha T, Malice has proven he’s a skilled lyricist on his own. While the storied group has produced three albums together, more notably the XXL classic, Hell Hath No Fury, Malice opted to venture into the rap game on his solo dolo flow.In 2011, the rapper became a full fledged author when he published Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind, and Naked, which candidly spoke about his decision to convert over to Christianity. In 2012, the new-born rapper veered his attention to more of a positive feel by changing his name to No Malice. His candor has been on display through his collaboration with Lecrae. What many may not remember, is his 2007 feature on Drake’s Comeback Season. So, best believe, No Malice is well-respected. No Malice flexed his skills once again on his 2013 album Hear Ye Him, proving the sharp-flowing lyricist still remains a force to be reckoned with in hip-hop today.Happy Birthday, No Malice!
