Getty ImagesFor someone who defines himself as a Turn Up God, it should come as no surprise that Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly didn’t resonate with Waka Flocka Flame at first. Late last week, Flocka took to Twitter to express his feelings about the project and ended by saying that the critically acclaimed release is “#PureGenius”:

I was one of those people that hated on @kendricklamar second album but now….

I can’t stop pushing repeat shit 🔥🔥🔥 it’s the message #PureGenius #WeGoneBeAlright— Waka Flocka Flame (@WakaFlocka) July 4, 2015It’s a bit surprising Flocka has any time to listen to music considering he is preparing to hit the campaign trail as he begins his presidential run. Back in April, the 36 Brickhouse native announced via Rolling Stone that he is running for president in 2016 and is making Whoo Kid his running mate. The turn up god has some agreeable policies that he would impose immediately if elected. First, he would legalize marijuana. After that, he would disallow dogs to enter restaurants and ban people with shoe sizes over 13 from walking on the street and only allow them to take public transportation. He would also make education reforms including making every student in the system learn his lyrics. Finally, President Waka would raise minimum wage to at least $15. Sounds good to us.Waka has been going hard at fellow presidential candidate Donald Trump as of late. Over the weekend, the rapper lashed out at the Republican for his racist remarks towards immigrant during his initial presidential campaign announcement. Check the Twitter rant here.
